It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Grace Yoko Arakaki of Hilo, Hawaii, born in Honolulu, Hawaii, who passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jimmy" Arakaki of Hilo; her children, Anne Tanaka (Jean-Louis Loveridge) of Honolulu, Joan Arakaki of Hilo and Grant Arakaki (Lauren Suzuki) of Honolulu; her siblings, Thomas Yamamoto (Oahu) of Kailua, George Yamamoto of Carson, James Yamamoto (Mae) of Aiea, Paul Yamamoto (Nancy) of Torrance, California, Florence Omura (George) of Honolulu, Claire Tokeshi of Aiea, May Imada (Edward) of Honolulu and Carol Maglasang of Wahiawa; and her sister-in-law Mildred Yamamoto (Oahu) of Kailua. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo, Hawaii on January 15, 2023 (Sunday) from 1:00 p. m. to 2:00 p. m.; memorial service will begin at 2:00 p. m. Casual attire and wearing of face masks is requested.
