Emma Kiyan Obituary
In loving memory of Emma Kiyan of Hilo, Hawaii, who departed this world on March 16, 2025 at the age of 88. Emma leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Emma shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Emma farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her sons, Renrick "Randy" Kiyan (Josetta "Josie") of Hilo and Derrick Kiyan (Bridget Chinen) of Hilo; and her siblings, Felward Kahakelii of Paradise Park and Mercy Olivera of Hilo. She is also survived by four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Dodo Mortuary Chapel (199 Wainaku St, Hilo, HI 96720). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. (110 Laimana St, Hilo, HI 96720).
