She is survived by: her children, Derek Sumida (Jennifer) of New York and Carie Sumida of Honolulu; her brother Larry Kanda (Hattie) of Pearl City, Oahu; and her siblings-in-law, Beverly Kanda of Honokaa, Audrey Sumida of Kaneohe, Oahu, Roy Sumida (Marilyn) of California and Cyrus Sumida (Myra) of Pahala. She is also survived by three grandchildren, numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
