He is survived by: his wife Karla Hayashi; his children, Michael Hayashi (Chieko), Kevin Hayashi (Teri), Darren Hayashi (Misao Maurer) and Michele Yonemori (Gregg); his sisters, Yoriko Nakao (Ray), Betty Mukai (Howard) and Iris Tanaka (Ronald); his mother-in-law Mildred Murakami; and his sister-in-law Angela Smeraglia (John). He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
