He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Pavao of Hilo, Ruth Sison (Ed) of Hilo, Fran French (Tom) of Hilo and Maile Pavao of Hilo; his siblings, Richard Pavao of Keaau, Mildred Yamamoto (William) of Hilo, Jackie Valera (Leo) of Hilo, Florence Leslie (Fred) of Hilo and Dorothy Smith of Durham; and his siblings-in-law, Clement Chang, Sr. of Hilo and Sandra McNally (John) of Glendale, Arizona. He is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews & cousins.
