She is survived by: her children, Alan Kuwahara (Lynne) of Hilo, Gail Takaki (Gordon) of Hilo, Lance Kuwahara (Sandra) of Hilo, Carol Deguchi (Oahu) of Waipio and Colin Kuwahara of Pahoa; and her siblings, Bob Nishimura of Sedona, Arizona and Ellen Mizota of Kaneohe. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.
