Delna Harue Okazaki Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delna Harue Okazaki of Hilo, Hawaii, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2025 at the age of 83. Though Delna Harue has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She is survived by: her husband Gleen Okazaki of Hilo; her children, Grant Okazaki of Hilo, Wendi Okazaki of Hilo and Keith Okazaki of Hilo; her brother Dickson Yagi of Claremont, California; and her sister-in-law Jeanne Yagi of Hilo. She is also survived by one aunt; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kinoole Baptist Church (1815 Kinoole St, Hilo, HI 96720). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
