He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Tammy Hiyoto Tanaka of Hilo; his daughter Cortnie Tanaka of Hilo; his mother Nancy Satsuko Tanaka of Honalo; and his siblings, Stephen Tanaka (Paulette Baniaga) of Honalo and Marsha Norvell (Ron) of Arkansas. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles.
