With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Kinuko Aiona (Hilo, Hawaii), born in Naalehu, Hawaii, who passed away on March 21, 2018 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her daughters, Charlene Kubota (Kevin) of Hilo and Goody Leopoldino (Doc) of Hilo; her sister Irene Balfe of Honolulu; and her siblings-in-law, Leroy Edwards of San Diego, Vivian Araujo, Geraldine, Momi-Gerri, Aumua, Kay Taosaka of Hilo and Karen Komatsu of Honolulu. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
