He is survived by: his parents, Pauline Kakugawa of Hilo and Earl Kakugawa (Tacey) of Pahoa; and his sister Kathy Kakugawa of Honolulu. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dodo Mortuary Chapel (199 Wainaku St, Hilo, HI 96720). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
