He is survived by: his wife Helen Oba of Hilo; his children, Kevin Oba of Hilo and Charlene Matsuoka (Leland) of Pepeekeo; and his siblings, Harold Oba of California, Shirley Kawamoto of Hilo, Harriet Huber of Henderson, Gladys Lopez of Hilo and Karen Oba (Richard Davis) of California. He is also survived by two grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
