She is survived by: her children, Joseph Cortez (Tashanna L. K.) of Hilo, Frank Rios Jr. (Lisa) of Pahoa, Elesia Medeiros (Michael) of Mt. View and Andrea Cortez (Noah Serrano) of Pahoa; her siblings, Evelyn Nobriga (Patrick), Benjamin Cortez Jr., Susan Gattis and Sandra Santos (Johnito); and her great grandchildren, Terrilyn Requelman and Shelly Vallespin. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
