He is survived by: his children, Leora Sunada (Jerry) of Los Angeles, Dean Masutomi of Hilo and Daniel Masutomi (Camille) of Honolulu; his sisters, Mary Katayama of Kona and Vivian "Sue" Orozco of Mesa, Arizona; and his sister-in-law Doris Masutomi of Kona. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
