It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Caberto Calso of Hilo, Hawaii, who passed away on May 1, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Andres Calso of Hilo; her daughter Jennifer Barcena (Ryan) of Philippines; her grandsons, Micah and Andrei of Philippines; her siblings, Joel Caberto of Philippines and Rosita Caberto of Philippines; and her siblings-in-law, Felix "Jhing" Calso (Rachael) of Keaau, Angel "Ghil" Calso (Liza) of Lanai, Lourdes Andaya (Clemente "Celino") of Hilo, Emilia Galdones of Philippines and Marcelina Barcena (Ninoy) of Lanai. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
