It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Amy Kimiko Aihara (Hilo, Hawaii), born in Honolulu, Hawaii, who passed away on August 2, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Keith Aihara (Jill) of Seattle and Lori Sugiyama (Alvin) of Hilo; and her sisters-in-law, Edna Nakamoto, Natsue Nakamoto of Honolulu, Chieko Hashizume, Sachiko Komata and Leatrice Aihara of Wahiawa, Oahu. She is also survived by six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
