He is survived by: his wife Elsie Iida of Hilo; his sons, Justin Iida and Jeremy Iida (Ellen Namnama) of Hilo; his siblings, Marvin Iida (Jane), Timothy Iida (Ellen) of Hilo and Jennifer Pickeral (Terry) of Bellingham, Washington; his siblings-in-law, Soonja Iida of Honolulu, Sally Asao (Mark) of Kapolei, Oahu, Donald Matsunaga of Redwood City, Roy Matsunaga (Cleta) of Honolulu and Charles Matsunaga of San Mateo, California; and his grandchildren, Kolby Namnama and Tyhler Iida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

No flowers or koden (monetary gifts).
