With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Kau Chun Aki (Haleiwa, Hawaii), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2025 at the age of 79. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey; his children, Michelle (Jesse), Michael Darin and Tiffany; his siblings, Sidney Aki (Alana), Danielle "Ipo" Gora and Guy Gora (Sky); and his aunt Juliette "Tootsie" Goo. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
