He is survived by: his girlfriend Cheryl Nasario of Kona; his son Kekaiomalie Akana of Kauai; his siblings, Warren Akana (Jessica) of Minnesota, Kawika Machado (Ruby) of Wahiawa, Kaponolani Machado (Haunani) of Kailua Kona, Brandon Gimenez of Honolulu, William Sabado of Hilo, Matthew Sabado of Hilo, Kehaulani Akana of Virginia and Caitlin Sabado Carvalho (Kevin) of Mililani; and his granddaughters, Faith and Hope Nasario Madereus. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
