He is survived by: his wife Ann Matsumoto; his sons, Bishop Eric Matsumoto (Tamayo) of Honolulu, Hawaii and Alan Matsumoto of Captain Cook; and his siblings, Akikazu Matsumoto (Suemi) of Kaneohe, Hawaii, Tomie Honda of Captain Cook, Hawaii, Satsuye Tanaka of Honolulu, Hawaii and Toyoko Urada of Captain Cook. He is also survived by two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephew.
