She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah F. McKinley and Jewel Caldwell McKinley; her siblings-in-law, Roy C. Harkness Sr. and Lucille Ayers Harkness; her husband Roy C. Harkness Jr.; her sister-in-law Margaret Harkness; her son Michael R. Harkness; and her son-in-law Eric N. Pline.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law James L. Harkness; her children, David Keith Harkness and Julie Harkness Pline; and her grandchildren, Emily Moore (Joe), Stephen J. Pline (Gigi), Joshua N. Pline, David J. Pline (Katelyn), Benjamin D. Pline (Sarah), Samuel E. Pline (Julianna), Jacob N. Pline (Leah) and Caleb S. Pline (Tiffani). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family requests donations be made to Gideon's International or the children's ministry at First Baptist Church in Zebulon, at P.O. Box 312, Zebulon, GA 30295, in lieu of flowers.
