It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Wornstaff (Zebulon, Georgia), who passed away on November 15, 2018, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Amanda Merritt Wornstaff; his daughter Abigail Christine Ribeiro (Danilo); his grandson Liam Carter; his son Daniel Stephen Wornstaff; his parents, Lynda Gail Wornstaff and Stephen Earl Wornstaff; his sister Glenna Hicks (Kane); his nephew Landon Kane Hicks; his mother-in-law Linda Merritt; his sister-in-law Jessica Askew (James); and his nieces, Hattie Graves and Adeline Askew. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to PCHS-Wrestling Team, at Pike County High School, 331 Pirate Drive, Zebulon, GA 30295 or Christ Chapel Community Church Building Fund, 115 Sullivan Road, Zebulon, GA 30295.
