He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Henderson Ison; his parents, Clarence Ison and Georgia Jewel Williams Ison; and his brother Jack Ison. He is survived by: his son David; his daughter-in-law Carol Ison of Woodland; his daughter Dana Simmons of Zebulon; his grandchildren, Ashley (David Reeves), Alison (Corey Brinson), Jessie (Justin Leonard), Heather (Derek Scott), Jenna (Brett Williams) and Bristol (Josh Follett); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Ison, Jenny Callaway (William) of Mattie Wohner, J. W and Henderson (Bobbie Wester). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
