He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hubert Hopkins, Sr. and Floyce Elaine Fowler Hopkins; and his daughter Bronwynn Nicole Weaver. He is survived by: his wife Judy Hopkins; his sons, Jimmy Hopkins Jr. (Marlene) of Woodstock, GA and Todd Hopkins (Beth) of Bradenton, FL; his grandchildren, Abby McCollum (Matthew), Natalie Smith (Austin), Joshua Hopkins (Laura), Jacob Hopkins, Alex Beary (Ricky), Alana Kohn (Jared Rashkin), Taylor Ann and C. J.; his great grandchildren, Maxwell James Smith, Maggie Kay Smith and Owen Beary; and his siblings, John H. Hopkins, Jr. (Perry) of Monroe, GA and Joyce Lorton (Danny) of Fayetteville, GA.
