He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Sue Thomas Whitaker; his children, Kelly Dowd of Pike County and Keith Whitaker of Pike County; his daughter-in-law Belinda Whitaker of Pike County; his grandchildren, Brittany Dowd, Tiffany Whitaker Parrot, Jaquan S. Harris, Ansley Kempson (Micah) and Keith Whitaker, Jr.; and his great grandchild Makaylynn Kempson.
