He is survived by: his wife Sarah Elizabeth Mehaffey; his children, Elizabeth Keen (Jimmy) and David Mehaffey, Jr; his grandchildren, Jason Econnell, Ashley Flemming (Phillip), Susan Stevenson, Michael Higgins and Vince Higgins (Lauri); his great grandchildren, Jack, McKinsey, Ethen, Danny, Michael, Matthew, Elizabeth and Theo; and his brother Zebulon Mehaffey.
