He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Bohannon; and his parents, Kathleen Bohannon and Guy Bohannon. He is survived by: his children, Darrell Bohannon of Zebulon, Kimberly Bright Speakes of Canton and Jessica Shellnutt (Jerry) of Griffin; his sister Debbie Gray (Bobby) of Stockbridge; his grandchildren, D. J. Bohannon, Taylor Bohannon, Amber Gray, Taryn Bohannon, Dylan Bohannon, Cameron Speakes, Colton Speakes, Connor Speakes, Kaitlyn Speakes, Ryan Bright and Jaelyn Shellnutt; his great grandchildren, Kota Speakes and Kacey Speakes; and his close friend Linda Bunch.
