He was predeceased by: his parent Douglas Grover McKinley. He is survived by: his parent Cleo Arthur McKinley; his wife Janelle Brazier McKinley; his children, Joe McKinley of Zebulon, Sharon Steger, Ronnie Steger of Milledgeville, Kay Sawyer and Hal Sawyer of Zebulon; and his sisters, Sue Allen, Sandy Lynn and Joann Massey. He is also survived by grandchildren and their spouses: Shanna and Kevin Needham, Jason "Bleu" and Jennifer Flournoy, Brantley and Crystal Steger, Chad and Brenda Steger, and Kayla and John Hurt; 13 great-grandchildren.
