She was predeceased by: her parents, David Ezekiel Chastain and Estie Edna Ramey Chastain; her husband Rev. James Marshall Lee; her sister Annie Mae; and her brother-in-law Robert Brown.
She is survived by: her daughter Meda; her son-in-law Benny McWhorter of Hogansville, GA.; her son Jason; her daughter-in-law Wendy Marie Lee of Young Harris; her brother Ernest; her sister-in-law Sue Chastain of Young Harris; her sister Genette Dye of Young Harris; her grandchildren, Justin (Sarah Lee), Brandon (Latisha Lee), Jordan (Haley Lee), Kim (Brian Huckleberry) and Ben (Ashley McWhorter); and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Jenna, Alex M., Addison, Alex, Jackson, Garrett, Addison H. and Cohen.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel (78a Butternut Crossing, Blairsville, GA 30512).
Flowers are accepted or if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Many Forks Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in Mrs. Lee's memory.
