It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ruth Gibson of Young Harris, Georgia, who passed away on May 30, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phelix Stockton and Stella Rogers; her husband Ensley Gibson, Jr.; and her siblings, Monroe Stockton, Lorita Phillips and Anita Ledford.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Barrett (Roger), Diane Berrong (Daniel) and Butch Gibson (Vickie); and her sisters, Roberta Baker, Dorothy Underwood and Wynona Nelson. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.
