He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grover William Smith, Sr. and Marjorie Gass Smith; his wife Sue Ellen Maxwell Smith; and his children, Anthony Smith of Blairsville, GA, Melanie Neubauer of Sarasota, FL, Bettylena Weaver of Blairsville, GA, Marcel Smith of Seattle, WA, Michelle Hoyer of Blairsville, GA, Nichole Patrick of Blairsville, GA and Kere MacAlister of Konomis, FL.. He was also cherished by 15 grand-children and 7 great-grandchildren.
