He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe V. Moss and Bertha Gribble Moss; and his siblings, Morris, Wilbert, Lawrence Fred, Monroe, Ralph Moss, Pearl Kitchens, Golda Dotson and Jewel Garza.
He is survived by: his daughter Jill; his son-in-law Ken Gittens; his grandson Tyler Strickland; his siblings, Joyce Allison and Kenneth Moss; and his stepgrandchildren, Kaleigh Burbage (Andy), Chelsea Williams (Charlie), Jaden and Seth Burbage. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home - Hayesville (67 NC-69, Hayesville, NC 28904).
