She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Matheson and Edna Mae Powell Matheson; her son Richard Fields; and her siblings, Odell (Bug), Glenn, David, George Matheson and Dorothy Wellman.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronnie (Vickie Fields) and Randy (Lisa Fields); her daughter-in-law Maryann Fields of Hayesville; her sisters, Carolyn Hall of Young Harris and Betty Lackey of Young Harris; and her grandchildren, Christy Fields, Leonard Fields, Kesha Fields, Nikki Helton and Tosha Radford. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
