With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jo Sampson of Young Harris, Georgia, who passed away on June 19, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Stephens Shook and Lula Estelle Hyatt Shook; and her brother Donald Worth Sampson. She is survived by: her daughters, Denise (Joseph Degrom) and Pansy (Terry Ramey); her sister Gertrude Graves of Murphy, NC.; her grandchildren, Donny, Jessica and Jake; and her great grandchild Madison.
