He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Boyt and Mattie Boyt Corley; his wife Sybil Tidwell Boyt; his siblings, Albert, Horace, Marion, Harris, Frank, Martha Dean, Lilly Hammock and Doris Gray; and his great grandchild Brooklyn Griffith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Griffith (Kenny) of Acworth, GA, Denice Long (Johnny) of Yatesville, GA, Denita Hall (Jerry) of Yatesville, GA and Dena Mason (Steve) of Yatesville, GA; and his great great grandchild PawPaw Bo. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren.
