She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Shores and Winnie Mae Rozier Shores; and her siblings, Kenneth Shores and Emmalou Mullis. She is survived by: her children, Bart Becham (LaRhonda) of Thomaston, Cheryl Sanders (Marty) of Yatesville, Matt Becham of Yatesville, Allison Nash (Frank) of Milner and Angela Johnston (Ellen Mendoza) of San Diego, CA; and her sisters, Ann Thompson of Macon, Becky Chamblee of Byron and Brenda Gordon of Byron.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home (628 N Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Yatesville Baptist Church (59 Logtown Rd, Yatesville, GA 31097).
