He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bobby" McCarty and Catherine White Watson; and his brother Tim Watson. He is survived by: his siblings, Rodney McCarty (Shelly) of South Carolina, Jay McCarty of Warner Robins, Terry Watson (Carolyn) of Thomaston, Judy Ingram of Thomaston and Patricia Thiel of Thomaston; and his aunts, Margaret Wainwright of Thomaston and Mildred Swails of North Carolina.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Coggins Funeral Home (321 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Crystal Hill Cemetery (321 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286).
