He is survived by: his wife Tessie Mae Hagans; his children, Tessie Bowman (Robert), Tonya Briscoe, Charleston, Thomas Hagans (Mary) and Anthony Hagans (Diane); and his sister Veris Landers (M. H.). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
