He is survived by: his wife Shirley Knight Dixon of Wrightsville; his children, Connie Brantley (Dale) of Kite and Ken Dixon; his sister Linda Douglas of Wrightsville; his grandchildren, Amber Attaway (Clarke), Ansley Oliver (Nathan) and Russ Dixon; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Sydney and Daniel.
