He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Neil McCarty and Dorothy Casary McCarty. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Price McCarty of Tennille; his children, Elizabeth McCarty Vernon (Brannon) of Hayden, AL, Rachel McCarty Daniel (Joey) of Corner, AL, Coleman McCarty (Alyana) of Hayden, AL, Taylor McCarty of Hawkinsville, Jessica Clements Rogers of Dublin and Justin Clements of Scott; his siblings, Larry McCarty (Patricia) of Knoxville, TN, Kevin McCarty (Rebecca) of Corner, AL and Judy Mann of Vestavia Hills, AL; his grandchildren, Trent Brake (Kelsie), Clay Brake, Ashton Brake, Olivia Vernon, Laney Vernon, Brinlee Eason, Rilee Eason, Tripp McCarty, Charlie Ann McCarty, Heidi Clements, Tracy Clements, Kellin McCarty and Peyton McCarty; his great grandchildren, Body Brake and Jaycee Grace Long; and his pets, Midnight and Popeye. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Stanley Funeral Home - Wrightsville (8580 S Marcus St, Wrightsville, GA 31096). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ivey Baptist Church Cemetery (3045 New Buckeye Rd, Wrightsville, GA 31096).
