She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Bowen and Helen Bowen Armstrong; and her sister Jane Bowen Martin. She is survived by: her husband Larry H. Sheppard of Wrightsville; her children, Artie Yates of Harrison, Ken Sheppard (Jeanette) of Riddleville and Pam Brown (James) of Sandersville; and her siblings, Sarah Bowen Smith of Tennille and Donnie H. Bowen of Tennille.
