With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joyce S. Dixon (Wrightsville, Georgia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Plez and Bessie Maddox Smith; her husbands, Herbert Roberts and Ray Dixon; and her son James Aaron Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Herbert Lamar Roberts of Dublin, Brenda R. Wilkerson of Wrightsville, Glenda R. Aliff of Dublin and Debra R. Scott (Herschel) of Sandersville; and her stepsons, Ray Dixon, Jr., Gary Dixon, Kenneth Dixon and Tracy Inman. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren and her beloved dog.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Wrightsville Church of the Nazarene (143 Lakeview Dr, Wrightsville, GA 31096). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at the Westview Cemetery.
