He was predeceased by: his parents, Berner Price and Clyde Price; his brother William Price; and his grandsons, C. J. Marcus and Ethan Marcus.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Price of Wrightsville; his daughter Mindy Price of Wrightsville; his grandchildren, Caitlin Marcus and Haven Marcus; his great grandchild Ian Coleman; his siblings, Ola Henderson, Bernette Wilkerson (Roger), Donna Gay (Neal) and Mary Sellars; and his great-nephew Matthew Clark. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
