He was predeceased by: his parents, James Eudon Powell and Margaret Mack Merritt Atkins. He is survived by: his wife Babette Powell; his children, Jessica Suzanne Powell (Tony McKinney), Charles Dayton Powell (Tiffany Anna Powell), Landon Powell (Shaina Powell) and Jonathon Derrick Powell; and his siblings, Charles Powell (Diane Powell), Janice and Bernice. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
