With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Bussell Thompson (Wrightsville, Georgia), born in Washington, Georgia, who passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Griffin Thompson; her parents, Willie Green and Pinkie Lou Bussell; her siblings, Louise, Willie Harris, Janet, Walter, Lillie and Bobby; her daughter-in-law Dianne Thompson; and her grandson Scotty Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Scott Thompson (Kathleen), Jane Stanley (Stuart) and Brian Thompson (Wanda); and her grandchildren, Shannon Eppserson (Chris), Lori Bryan (Robert), Leah Bethea (Reid) and Patrick Thompson. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
