He was predeceased by: his wife Veris Hagans Landers; and his siblings, Mary Bynes (Willie), Doretha Alexander (Sam), Christine Dorsey (Willie, Sr.), L. J. Landers (Marie) and Charles Louis Landers (Polly).
He is survived by: his children, Lindsey Landers (Joanne), Charles Landers (Mary), Thomas Landers, Larry Landers (Shirley), Georgia and Patricia Dunn (Beverly); and his brother-in-law Tommy Hagans (Pauline). He is also survived by grandchildren; twenty six (26) great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
