It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Holmes of Wrightsville, Georgia, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sheldon Holmes and Bessie Holmes; and her siblings, Tommy Holmes and Martha Brown. She is survived by: her friend Martha Brown; her sister Shirley Tharpe (Mickey) of Wrightsville; her niece Marci Tharpe Mulkey of Dublin; her nephew Cody Tharpe (Nicki); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Asholyn Tharpe of Savannah, Audrey Tharpe of Savannah, Noah Tharpe of Savannah, Seth Newsome (Harley) of El Paso, TX and Chloe Mulkey of Dublin.
