It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Alice Moore (Wrightsville, Georgia), born in Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Barbara Alice farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Barbara Alice is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam William Johnson and Beatrice Wright Johnson; and her husband Danny Cecil Moore. She is survived by: her son Stevie Loftin of Wrightsville; and her grandchildren, Marilon Loftin, Madison Loftin, Halen Loftin and Mack Bryan. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Richard N. Stanley Memorial Chapel (8580 S Marcus St, Wrightsville, GA 31096). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the Westview Cemetery.
