It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Baker Lavette Oliver (Wrightsville, Georgia), who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Oliver and Mattie Lou Holton Oliver; and his wife Sara Hall Oliver. He is survived by: his children, Bruce Oliver (Robin) of Wrightsville and Lynn Carter (Donnie) of Wrightsville; his siblings, Billy Oliver of Juliette, Bobby Oliver (Sonja) of Tarrytown and Patricia Mathis (Glenn) of Wrightsville; his grandchildren, Krystal Tanner (Jim), Kasey Carter (Lindsey), Kelli Johnson (Jimmie), Will Oliver (Sidney), Brittany Barfield and Alana Oliver (Cody Hutcheson); and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Carter, Emery Carter, Ava Johnson, Bentley Johnson, Carter Tanner, Brianna Tanner, Sara Kate Tanner, River Oliver and Emerson Smith.
Social Distancing guidelines will be in effect, and seating capacity will be limited as we are following the guidelines of the local health district and the CDC.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Baker to Tuckers Grove Holiness Church C/O Lynn Carter at 4393 Tuckers Grove Church Road, Wrightsville, GA 31096.
