With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oliver Randolph Gay Jr. of Wrens, Georgia, born in Louisville, Georgia, who passed away on October 30, 2023 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Oliver Randolph Gay Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Ann Edwards Gay; his son Randy Gay; his parents, Lizzie Irene Windom Gay and Oliver Randolph Gay; and his son-in-law Leon Peebles.
He is survived by: his daughter Marsha Peebles Walker (Rickey); his daughter-in-law Sharon Broome (Alan); his grandsons, Marc Peebles (Holly), Lee Peebles (Marissa) and Randy Gay Jr. (Amy); his great grandchildren, Paetyn Peebles, Marlee Grace Peebles, Lux Gay, Blakely Gay, Mitch Black and Lori Black; and his great great grandchildren, Abby Black and River Black. He is also survived by other extended family members, church family and friends.
To honor Oliver's love and commitment to his faith and church, the family respectfully request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Wrens Baptist Church earmarked for Greater Things (Building Fund).
