He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Price Smith and Johnnie Hampton Smith; and his siblings, J. H. Smith, Elouise Price and Donnie Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Marty Smith (Evonne), Darlene Holcomb (Tony), James Smith and Randy Smith (Marcia). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
Because of the family's respect and concern for public health and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. The wearing of face masks is strongly encouraged during any gathering.
